this got me thinking of something i remember asking about a long time ago but never really got a good answer.
We know the share counts of nearly all public companies are filled with synthetic shit from sneed and co, its not really just a GME thing. Naked shorting exists massively in all equities, so in theory the floats are more or less infinite to allow for "liquidity"
But with all these massive buybacks, particularly with the large megacaps, how does that affect the prices of these tickers when the sharecounts are all made up anyway? I think stock buybacks should be looked into further, and my schitzo senses are tingling now that RC mentinoned it.
Maybe one of you faggots on leddit can get a DDslave to look into it.
