proof of stake is literally a centralization scam, even worse than corporations buying up tons of ASICs and powering them off of illegally cheap chinese coal power.

At least with POW there is the middleman of having to produce, power and maintain these machines. CPU-only POW is the best option, because just about everything has a CPU in it now, so it's the most accessible to the most people.
