You know what's funny? The stocks that have been going really well this month are frickin REITs and properties... literally wot? All of them have had to issue buttload of new shares to take in money and the rates at that time were only at 3%. Inflation since then accelerated and the bank is forced to hike further and will probably hold for longer.
I have no idea how that is bullish for REITs but apparently it is. Fugg dis gey market.
It is actually incredibly how fragile these companies are. The rates are insanely low even with these supposed rate hikes. 3-4% the fugg?
Just you wait till they go above 5%... the entire Sweden will shit itself. God I hope so. This country deserves it. They created this mess for themselves and now will have to face the consequences

>Good of you're an employee, bad if you're an employer
Why? The high core inflation coupled with the low and falling PPI means companies can freely increase their prices and more than adequately compensate for inflation (hell, significantly more as increases are far over inflation).
So I'd say this is good for all of us... as long as banks keep giving out money and the government keeps printing, which they both are. Just check out the M2

Goddamn does that show suck but the chicks are all 8+/10. Then again, who the hell watches something bad just because the chicks are hot? Can't think of anything more autistic than that.
Also, why Dow? The last 10 years have been about one thing and one thing only and that's tech. The amount of money put into US tech is absurd and completely mogs every other sector. And that spending is only increasing and rapidly. If you ain't in tech, you are gonna be left in the dust.

Well, trading has nothing to do with morals. Get your money, get your gains, then get the hell out and raise your children in a moral way. It sucks but you gotta play the game if you wanna win

You know what they say, there are three main drivers of financial growth: inflation, war, and exploitation.
The market obviously doesn't seem to care about that, so why should you (as an investor)?

The data is fluctuating around 50. Take a look at the historic chart of PMI. It literally tells you nothing. Just another made up statistic.
What we do know is that inflation is high and will remain high, which is incredibly bullish for stocks.

Look at the index as a whole. It's a fuckin catastrophe. Hell, it's -16% from 2005. They are utilizing inflation to its fullest right now since inflation is insanely bullish.
Service PMI is also pretty high. Smaller indices like those of Italy are also not subject to any rules. But yeah, it's gonna be fun for Italy next year. I am really really curious how they will handle the "high" rates.
Also, where the fugg have you been for the past year? Data does not matter anymore

"Low-paying" my big juice azz. I don't really know how it is in the US but here in europoor those "low-paying" jobs pay really damn well, easily outperforming engineers and the like. Especially if you do services for boomers since they pay like crazy.
It's like I thought though. Leisure and Hospitality going through the roof. The service inflation is gonna be insane this summer, which is of course quite bullish.
Construction is a weird one. For example here in europoor, property construction has fallen quite severely. Not much is being built... so I wonder where they are getting these jobs from? Or are zoomies finally going to trades because they realized how overpaid trades are?
Oh well, I agree with the anon above me in that it looks quite bullish, at least in the short-term.
We can pretend AI is replacing and effectivizing the "high-paying" industry (bullish) while the "low-paying" industry keeps growing (bullish). All in all, very bullish
