That was a bummer to me as well, VH was pretty much the only of the 80s rock bands (yes, I know they started in the 70s) that really kept my love much farther into life. When 1984 first came out, so did CDs, and I had a much older cousin who worked at a high end musical instrument store in a larger city. They had a soundproof stereo demo room with the most incredible system pretty much possible. At that time only a relative few things were available in the new CD format, and they were about $30 each. He took me and my mother in that room, closed the door and put this on:
