Asked the wife to grow out her bush for this weekend.

Didn't go to work today. We went to the doctor. Doc said we both were covid negative and didn't have the flu or any other nasty thing floating round. Just regular grade sinus issues. Also checked our vitals and we're both good on all that to. (So you know I can still down my L.C lunch combos and not have the big one while at my desk). Fucking water in my basement to. But it's all good. Just bare concrete. Drain in the floor so it'll all run out eventually. KO is gonna have the 61st divvy hike next month. Last year was 5%. This year I'm guessing they'll dial it back a bit. Still. A hike is a hike. Better than a cut.

State legislators convene at the capital and the 2023 session kicks off tomorrow. They've got just 30 days to get things done. So no feet dragging. Why I even give a damn? Simple; Money. Last session they ear marked in the budget to give everyone another pay bump this year. So only question remains; How much? 30 days and I finally get my answer. 6 - 12%

Yeah me to. Hiked my 401k contributions and I've got a previous tax loss carryover to use as well. Now I did make some gains this year and my salary went up decent amount so I dunno exactly what I'm gonna get back. Last year's refund was bigger than the one before it. But I owed nothing last year. So this year I'll prob get shafted. Cause that's normally how it works; one year state says "hey you owe x amount" then next year it says "you owe nothing" I've never owed the fed anything extra. I remember once the state said I owed them a single dollar. So I made a check out for just 1.00 and mailed it off. (This was before they let you pay it online)
