finding a couple of exceptions in remote places where nobody wants to live doesn't mean millions of millenials will be able to find such places
by the looks of your images they look like something you just want to tear down and rebuild anyway. it would probably be a little cheaper than buying something old even if you hire contractors but that takes a lot of time and some skills as well, even if the skill is just finding good contractors that won't rip you off or half -ass anything
