Serious question, how can we know that there are cycles of crypto bull runs this early into the crypto history?

Until we actually experience patterns enough to establish this kind of metric, we can't honestly know if this is a 'golden bullrun' or just the how it looks once crypto starts gaining mainstream appeal.
