People say that crypto derives its value from nothing and for that reason they consider it a ponzi scam.
But they are wrong, at least in the case of POW coins. POW coins derive their value from the electricity or energy required to create them. POW coins are in essence energy storage units and thus intrinsically valuable.
The excuse Proof of stake advocates people use to push for it is that POW uses too much power, but they dont realize thats an actual feature of crypto currencies.

You know what really pisses me off?
That the whole crypto market, the 1250 different currencies.. all act like a single asset when dumping.
Its just irritating, whats the point of having 30 different technologies or 20 different hashing algorithms and ecosystems or whatever if they are all going to act the same?

Well it will certainly recover but after such a crisis our institutions will have to be re-evaluated and that can be a painful process that is however healthy in the long run but are they gonna re-evaluate fiat? Unfortunately probably not
