The dollar already collapsed long ago. It's been running on fumes and they keep coming up with fun new ways to prop it up: FDR confiscating gold and revaluing it afterward, Bretton Woods, Nixon "temporarily" suspending gold convertability, and replacing it with the petrodollar agreement via Kissinger and now CBDC. You're watching social structures and actual infrastructure crumble around you in real time. People can't afford food, transportation and shelter in increasing numbers every day and the US is accelerating that by taking on increased immigration from socialist countries that except to be provided for by their government. The engines are running on fumes and they're adding more passengers. Grab a parachute if you want to live.

>Backing the paper money with a seal of the U.S. armed forces would provide more faith
>faith
it's not a problem of faith, it's a problem of supply
even 100% fiat money could be semi-acceptable in an ideal universe where governments are benign and do not print

but when the monetary supply is inflated (original definition of inflation) turns out even the US army cannot control the prices

have you never farmed a shitcoin? go look at a chart and compare to this. it's a race to farm the most and dump it all. they'll use some vague bullshit promises to get people to hodl and provide liquidity but the devs themselves just dump. now look at the national debt, the devs have literally printed tens of trillions and dumped it. everyone is dumping. and what does dumping entail? it involves selling the shitcoin (dollar) to buy literally anything else. they've created an entire bullshit financial system as a liquidity trap to facilitate this dumping process. they also use this system to scampump their shitcoin when they want to juice asset liquidity even more
