you have to acknowledge that she could win.
I don't think anyone here is saying that they want her to win, but it is possible. Anyone saying that they know what will happen is wrong. A year (in the current political climate) is a long time, so many things can happen.

Trump has to have a good ride through the congressional heat that's on him right now. Another thing to consider is that his campaign last time was like a blitzkrieg, it was shocking and fresh. He was guns blazing and people were impressed. Well now he's been guns blazing for 4 years. His base surely likes it, but it's unknown how independent voters will like him this time around.
I think if Warren 'cleans up' some of her far-left positions, she can still run a campaign that is critical of certain business/finance practices but rational enough to capture some independents. She can't go too much into the "women and minorities and free healthcare for illegals" zeitgeist that slowed down the Democratic debates so much. She has to get moderate and appeal to independents to have a shot at winning.

If she never says "I'm a woman" to prove a point or claims that she will have a better/different point of view because she's a woman, that will look strong to independents. She can't come across as bitchy, which can be tough. She should be watching videos of Tulsi at the debates to get the idea of the best possible stage presence to use as a woman. Not overbearing, but not weak. It honestly is super hard for a woman to get the right balance to beat a man on televised debates. You have to be confident and gentle.
Basically what I'm saying is that Tulsi is actually an amazing candidate and I think that the democrats could have had a really good shot at locking down independents by going with her and/or Michael Bennet.
