why does it seem like right now (last few days) all the actual shitcoins are bleeding, and the select few of the bigger ones are starting to really moon? NEO is mooning, Kybers picking up, QTUMs holding strong stuff like that, but all the low to medium-low mcap coins are just dying? What's going on?

Just started getting into this and have one question: on the big exchanges, can non-US citizens trade crypto to USD? not to cash out but just held within the exchange?

I'm Canadian and the exchange I used to deposit has almost no volume, so I bought my BTC/ETH and transferred it off that exchange and onto a bigger one. Can I move in and out of USD? or do people mainly use Tether? curious about this before I start moving stuff around.

Why are some alts down today like 20-40% when BTC is still way up this month overall, even now at like ~9600 or w/e its at about the same price it was at a couple days ago, yet those alts that are down 20-40% today were completely fine a couple days ago when BTC was originally at 9600

so why does money get pulled from alts that doesn't seem like it was put there in the first place over the last few days? i don't understand the correlation, anyone explain how it all works?

How can you do that when you can't even cash out?

Don't know if I can phrase this correctly, but anyway I feel I have a problem with actually becoming active in the crypto market.

Like I have some coins, I've been invested for a few months but only holding, not really doing any trading or being active in any way (including selling off things when I probably should.)

Basically I feel 'paralyzed' if that makes sense. If I hold something and it starts dropping in price, I don't sell because "it might recover", or if something moons I don't sell because "it might keep going", basically I don't feel I have any real indication on what I should be doing.

I've asked this before and people basically answer with, "and thats why you should just hold BTC", and I can see that logic in my case, but my question is: how do I get better? what resources do I study to actually get the confidence to make trades or know when to buy/sell what I'm holding. How do I build a strategy/plan? based on what?

If anyone can relate or has any input I'd appreciate it.

Where's the money flowing today?

BTC is back a bit below $8k, BCH isn't mooning, alts are pretty much all down, BTCG went up earlier but it's not parabolic (and only ~$200m volume). Where the fucks the money being moved to today?
