Hi /biz/
I just got a windfall in the mid-5 figures, and I don't know what to do with it. This is the first time I've had a largeish chunk of cash, and I'm not completely sure what to do with it.
I know 60k isn't an absolutely lifechanging amount of money, but I do know that with the right moves I can make the next 10 years much more comfortable for me, or invest it in something which might mean I can do well in the further future.
Currently my job isn't great, it's steady work but the pay isn't that high and there aren't that many options for advancement. I've got about 4k in savings (and about 6-8k in magic cards) so while I don't feel that I'm likely to crash and burn, I am only a few crises from spending most of my money.
I was considering spending about ~10k on quality of life stuff, like a new gaming PC, a nice Le Creuset cookware set and an upgrade on my piece of shit Corolla.
But after that I'm kinda clueless.
