It depends if many factors, speculation hysteria might rise us sooner than would be predictable, and political meddling could make us lose a lot of years. Don't forget that the 4th industrial revolution going according to predictions would destroy a lot of jobs and above all make lose a lot of money to very powerful people. Law firms, insurance companies, they will pull every string they can to keep their scam going, they will lobby parliaments all around the globe.
Thing giving me hope is that the chainlink project is international and decentralized by nature, so it would be very hard to stop the machine once it get traction. They might successfully lobby London and Paris but what about Tokyo? Washington? Dubai? On the long run fighting the 4IR might prove as useless as fighting the replacement of horses by cars.
