some of the craziest lost treasure people forget about is located at near China Bar on BCs Fraser River. Men returning from the gold fields in the early years tried running the river down stream with rafts, and almost all of them drowned doing so. Not only did they go down, but so did the hundreds of pounds of gold nuggets and bullion that they were carrying. Its estimated that at least 2 tons of gold are lost in the deadly rapids at China bar and Hells Gate.
