Sadly that seems to be the case. The team appears to have a strong aversion to making "undeserving" whales rich, so it seems they would rather remain kings of the shit mountain just to spite parasite whales, instead of just accepting they'll need to make some undeserving people giga-wealthy in order to get giga-wealthy themselves.

Imagine worrying about a 10 billion stack from the pajeet/beaner dev (is he even a real person), when 98 people, 2.09% of the holders, remain in control of ~60.17% of the supply.
