I inherited a Roth IRA at UBS of about $11k from my grandfather. I have been debating liquidating it and using it to purchase physical silver and gold.

I have 3 other 401ks totalling about 50k so I still have about 20k in the bank so I still have savings.

What are your thoughts bros?

I feel I am not violating any tax laws. I am selling at a loss. Anyway, here is a thought experiment -

In 2000 we had actual markets. Now we just have a Fed run scheme to print money to fund the government through asset market and cap gains taxes.

When they pivot (and tbf they really haven't yet) number will go right back up because it makes the paper economy look good and the government look solvent. They will not abandon asset prices to save the dollar because it will make the US fiscal crisis and hollow zombie economy both much too obvious. They will pretend to fight inflation only for a little while longer, maybe till after midterms.

Summers, Burry, Rosenberg, all the dollar and bond bulls will just have to cry about it.

I have had a bad feeling for the last 2 years that when Silver/Gold start to moon and miners are taking off, the Fed will pull some move that crushes the stock market and causes everything to get dragged down even the miners. Something like that would just trump whatever technicals are on the charts and cause forced selling/liquidations. Anyone else think (((they))) are that committed to keeping PMs down?
