Do you guys have that "hustler" mentality when you are at work? Do you easily stay motivated?

I have noticed visiting friends in cities like New York, Ft Lauderdale, Miami, Atlanta, etc, there is a "get money" vibe. Everyone seems to be on the grind and working hard as fuck during the week, then gets hammed on the weekends. How do you guys stay motivated?

I had a 3.3 GPA if I remember correctly. It was not a top tier school...it was a big STATE school in Florida (hint hint)

My degree was business management, specifically focused on hospitality management. I realized quickly I made a mistake once I graduated college. But while in college, all I was thinking about was partying with the frat, beer, and getting laid.

I started out entry level with a big brokerage firm. On my resume and in my interviews, I put the spin on my degree as strictly business management (didnt really mention the hospitality part lol). I showed interest in finance such as keeping up with the markets, etc. I started off entry level, they provided all the training and got me licensed, and from there I had my foot in the door...since then I have obtained my CFP and just advanced by working hard.

There are plenty of financial firms out there that will hire you entry level even if you dont have a degree in finance. You just have to do some digging and show interest in the field.
