As much as I have nothing insightful to answer your question, I can try to broaden your perspective on the situation. A derivitive market might be here to stay (assume it is, desu) but it IS new, and it IS unnatural... To invest without this market: its merchantilisim. Nothing more or less. "Take profits" "reinvest" "hold". They are all the same, it just doesn't look how we have been programmed to see it.

Based JUST on the fact your selling slabbed coins for a profit, your doing the money part right, assuming you reinvest and some of the profits go into a "savings" or "earned profits" allocation, while your "war chest" funds the acquisition for resale to earn profits and buy more.
