I really doubt you were here in 2018. Complete radiosilence for most of the year while only having a 2 man team. Crashing from 60 cents to 20 cents (-67%) THREE times. Other ICOs hard or soft exit scamming left and right. Holding after mainnet (and thus confirmation that they were actually going to pull it off) has been a breeze comparatively. The summer 2019 crash, the corona crash and the summer 2020 crashes were tough, but you get used to it.

You're in the wrong mindset if your mental wellbeing is deteriorating because your investment only went up 50% compared to other investments going up 200% or more.

I can't remember those times, but I can feel nostalgia when watching pictures from /biz/.
The only thing that changed is that I go eat a Big Mac each time my portfolio reaches a new milestone.

When I see Palatine of facts enjoying things I took for granted as a luxury it really makes me realize how blessed I was even as a wage slave.

bottom line is, voluntarism wins in the end—always has, always will
just as capitalism thrives and communism starves, voluntarism is choosing to live and let live while involuntarism is mass enforcement of self-annihilation
involuntarists may attempt to control power, but naturally, they suck at making it

The barrier of entry is extremely high.
You have to understand crypto, how to buy them and to keep them safe.
You have to understand why Link is special, have to be deluded enough to go all in and crazy enough to ignore extreme -60% volatility, while ignoring general NPC consensus outside of /biz/.
You need to be extremely patient and ignore your urges to day trade shitcoins and to buy the latest pump and dump flavor.
This is hard to do when you see other coins doing +20-40% in a day.

Personally I did not look a lot into the breadcrumbs lately after I went all in 2 years ago.
The most important things for me were Sergey's same shirt autism and his team.
Also I found out that Sergey had a personality similar to most of us in that interview explaining how he chose his shoes to be the most comfortable and never think again on it.
If I imagine what I could do if I decided to do my best and focused on one specific task, I have no doubt that it would be successful.
If Sergey is like that, there is no reason to doubt his ability to deliver.
There are extremely few people like us and I still haven't met another someone like us in real life.

The repetition of daily acts which have the goal of improving your life on the long term is the most important thing you should practice.
Outsiders will only see the result and think that you got lucky.
The truth is you needed to learn a lot of new things like how to keep your future wealth, invest and being in charge of your life and decisions. Also this journey will completely change your mindset about time, money and your goals in life.
If you look back at your past self 3 years ago you will see a lot of changes in your mindset.
Nothing of this experience is wasted and it will without a doubt greatly benefit your future.
