I've seen so many youtube videos about 'investing for retirement', about consuming ones wealth once you're old or especially that 'die with zero' garbage. Why are people too fucking retarded to think beyond their own lifetime when it comes to investing? It feels like a lot of people would rather throw out all their money for literal garbage out of spite than to give it to their relatives and to build something that is larger than themselves. When you think beyond a timeframe of 80 years it is almost impossible not to build up mountains and mountains of money.
