Racism is a cope. It's forced on non-rich whites by the elite to keep the former separate from intra-class allies. By participating, white people gain a sense of self-satisfaction in even the most wretched circumstances ("Well, at least I'm not black") and avoid invoking the wrath of wealthy and influential whites who seek to prevent retribution for their exploitation. Genuine racism is actually a liability for rich people; it clouds one's vision and disrupts one's decision-making ability. You miss out on opportunities and are more likely to fall into emotional traps.

Racism has to be cultivated through meme and media; it's unnatural, particularly when your neighbors (not just within your community, but within your locality and your state) are in the same economic class as you, but a different race. What your change means is that you've built real wealth; you've been able to remove yourself from the area of effect of imposed racial rhetoric, and the people you come into contact with recognize that you're not someone who has to be controlled with said rhetoric, but a potential partner within the elite. Kudos. Just know that you'll probably be called on at some point to enforce that rhetoric yourself (again, knowing that it's a tool of control and not anything to subscribe to personally).
