Well first off, you're treating SPY as if it's a short-term gain stock when it never was. SPY, VOO, and any other S&P 500 stock is for long-term, like 20 or 30 years. If you're trying to treat it like a VIO, BABA, or PLTR stock then you deserve the losses you incure.
