i will never buy "the 'x' of china"
nor should anyone else who values their money
there are a few reasons, like the fact that such companies are usually set up directly by the CCP, calling the validity of everything they say/report into serious question

second is how they are shilled is most of the time misleading.
we have very little info on these chinese companies from the actual chinese, and every so often well get one who sneaks through the firewall and tells us, BILI a shit no one uses, JD is fucked and irrelevant, or that one little gem where some chinese guy told us that the majority of the public in china is against their own stock markets due to how manipulated it is.

no my fren, the point is very simple:
>frens dont let frens buy chink ripoff companies

if you actually look into it past "the 'x' of china" meme, and honestly like what you see, go for it, just beware the govt makes and reports those numbers and the fine print is in mandarin. enjoy being RICE'd on the next dollar spike

So I was reading about the LT gains rates. I knew there was a 0% rate for those in the 15% or lower brackets.

I am trying to understand this correctly. Let's say you owned an auto shop and had it paid for and wanted to sell it when you retire.

Let's say you retire at 60 and will have no income from 60 until Social Security age.

If the building sells for $1mil and has a basis of say $200k when I am 60yrs old.....I have no earned income, so would I pay nothing in long-term capital gains taxes?

Is there a look back period on these? If I know I am going to sell something in two years or three years, and decide it would be worthwhile tax wise to just not work that year to have 0 income, would I be subject to an old LT gains rate based on my previous tax bracket?

Have you literally ever had to complete and assignment or project on a computer attached to the internet? Do you know how unproductive that shit is?

Wait, what am I saying, this thread is one giant bait.

And gentlemen, we've all fallen for it.
