Yeah I figured that. My income is small currently but I expect it to go up exponentially, as I work in information technology, and just finished my bachelors degree in May.

I’m currently teaching myself how to develop neural nets on the google cloud platform, and how to automate some of my tasks at work in python. I am essentially working for the same pay I received as an intern, but I have full access to a large companies IT systems, and I do the work of a Tier 2 Engineer currently.

The only reason I’m still with this company is because of corona, and work from home being super comfy. My boss is super laid back, I can take multiple breaks during the work day. So hopefully LINK stays cheap for awhile so I can throw more money in.

I also turned $500 into $30,000 shorting Tesla during the “corona” flash crash, but my account now is down to $1,900. Still $500 to $1,900 in 7 months isn’t bad.

So I turned $500 into ~$30,000 on one Tesla trade. Tesla puts from $816 to $360. Sold for 860 shares of XOM.

Since then, I got impatient, and lost a ton of money, down to $360 in my robinhood. I put $3,000 into LINK, but overall I will take a $1,500 loss this year.

But hey, I’m 22. I’ll learn I guess.

Here’s the proof, on my other phone. This account I’ve taken out $367 more than I have put in, so the percentages are fucked.

I got PDT restricted so I opened another account, that I am going to take a $2,000 loss on. Could be worse, I’m 22 graduated college, no debt, and am learning from my investment mistakes
