There are few places where you can make some serious gainz. The US, Switzerland, Czech Republic if you are a good entrepreneur and are well connected (not joking about CZ, it's really crazy how much money you can make there with all the loopholes in the system), and some other countries.
But the safest bet is of course the US where even a junior engineer is making decent money.
Alas, I can't find a company to provide me with a H1b visa so I am stuck in Scandinavia. It's decent enough here but the combination of medium salary + high taxation + living costs means that scandis are one of the most endebted people on the planet. "well-off", "happiest people on the planet", "high living standards"... everything depends on loans and I hate that. I will never take a loan from a bank.
I am an engineer with a master's degree. I honestly thought getting a visa would be easier but I guess I'll have to wait and get way more experience before being considered. Fugg

Wtf? Never ever have I seen normies complain about an artisan's prices unless the product was shit. Normies will happily give 500 bucks for some crap table.
You probably overcharge even more than the others or your products are garbage. People will happily overcharge for quality and that's a fact

I still find it puzzling that it dumped hard on such good numbers and even better guidance.

Can someone explain what they even do in those banks? Every meeting is the same, they never learn from past mistakes, and they keep repeating the same shtick every goddamn time. Do they take a look at the inflation graph once a month and that's it? Take some coffee and talk about their nieces' favorite Halloween costumes or what?
For the past 6 months Lagarde and her cohorts have been on repeat mode and haven't brought anything productive into play. "Oh we have noticed inflation is kinda high in EU so we are raising 25 bps"...

Why is it pumping so hard? What is up with semis? Is it that easy? Just buy any dip in semis and enjoy your +50% every year? Seems a bit too easy

>7% inflation that has passed its peak
My big juicy well trained ass. Meat has gone up in terms of price way more than 12.5%, I call bullshit. And fruit and veggies are ridiculously expensive nowadays. Not joking when I say that meat here (Scandinavia) sometimes costs less per kg than tomatoes or bell peppers. Fricking tomatoes that once upon a time (just two years ago) were considered dirt cheap now cost more than meat, WTF?
It's called greedflation and if there is one thing we can learn from history it's that greed always pays off. This shit ain't going nowhere

And now with Amazon exceeding expectations, that's pretty much all the companies surpassing all this inflationary and rate FUD. Why shouldn't stocks be at ATH considering their profits are ATH? Even guidance is good. Literally what is even bearish in the foreseeable future? Inverting yields? Housing crash? Come on, be realistic. Banks have shown themselves to be cowards that raise the rates as humanly possible. Literally hasn't affected earnings at all.
I should have become a mumu in October last year but unfortunately I waited to switch sides until January... so many gains lost

I've just been doing 1 month and 3 month bills right now, only because I want to have cash if stocks dump this year (maybe around fall, or winter).

I'd buy a 2 year note if I wanted to make a play on yields tanking hard. Then you could just sell your notes and get some capital gains on those.
