If I found a stray female dog I’d bring her in and take her a bath then put her to rest by the fireplace. When she’d wake up I’d have a dog bowl full of eggs for her to eat.
Even if she’s not use to eating everyday I will make her eat all the eggs. Then put a blanket over her to rest and put her on a harness collar
