seems they didn’t drop the motto because of the ambiguity of defining “evil” so it was a bad example. their business isn’t (wasn’t) primarily about philosophy, but google is some example of company capable of sustaining heathy moral values at scale, it’s not easy to achieve.

my original point was, vilifying labels are more often used to harm entities or groups (i.e witch hunting, racism, antisemitism, etc) than maintaining moral systems. imo the latter should be based on objective and impartial information about reality, rather than fears and misunderstandings. eventually again this is mere semantics so if you really don’t like this view, you may discard it.
