yeah so to properly USE the classical control loops hard-coded into your body you need learning. so a robot company will need machine learning. but my point is, it does NOT need it for the low-level kinetics only to know how to use them. Boston Dynamics' lead in those low-level kinetics is real, so if sold off to some company that's actually equipped to do AI/ML you could see some real terminator shit real quick.
