If it is a scam, it is the weirdest one in History. The other day, digging in dev branches of the hardware wallet, I found out they forgot comments from a security audit recommending stuff. On pull request for the same wallet instructions they are following those of Trezor but improving what they think can be done better. On the mainnet branch of Skywire, the guys are describing everything perfectly and the code is so clean you would not believe it. They seem obsessed with redoing and retesting their unit testing over and over to autistic levels that shouldn't be possible.
And still, the volume is peanuts and most people thing it was a scam to sell orange pis.
