>What are your thoughts on the gospel of Thomas?
good question, I recently finished the Gospel of John and thoroughly enjoyed it but haven't read the Gospel of Thomas since I was a teenager (I'm working on catching up with my bible study)
Jesus really was ahead of his time, and the wisdom in his words resonate with me
It's particularly striking how he was teaching based off of the old testament, it's also interesting what serious Jewish scholars and rabbis have to say about Jesus
Regarding the Old Testament, have you had a chance to read the "Horned Moses" threads I made recently?

It was revelatory for me in the context of my experience with what I can only describe as "magnetic horns" protruding from my temples
