checked! i am doing well indeed, though a bit busy with schoolwork at the moment and feeling a little tired of winter. something strange is happening to me, i haven't had a drink in about 2 months and i seem to be quitting cigarettes as well, and without really trying to have begun fasting, exercising, and writing.

all of these things have been goals of mine for months that i seemed unable to make any headway on. but now, it's effortless, like shedding a skin, or being born. i'm uncertain what catalyzed it. Perhaps Imbolc? My 3 year anniversary of being off heroin? The beginning of spring? Seeds are beginning to sprout in my soul? Anyway, i won't question it; as always i return to a baseline of gratitude. life truly is a gift, and I feel blessed to be here with all of you.
