Anyone have thoughts on whether utility companies might be undervalued (NEE, SO, DUK, etc)? The sector as a whole is currently down 10%ish over the past two weeks due to the winter storms. I usually keep a small portion of my portfolio in utilities as a "safe" investment due to consistent dividends and what is effectively a subscription model and near-guaranteed income. This would be a value play, not a growth play.

Anyone know of companies with < 1bil in market cap that are worth looking into? I'm trying do to some DD on potential multi-baggers but everything I'm looking at is bottom-of-the-barrel shit (Party City, Lumber Liquidators, Nautilus Fitness, etc). There's also just some really weird shit like AGM-PC which has 750mil in market cap but averages volume of less than 700 (that's seven hundred flat, not in millions or thousands). Compare that to something like Kodak, which has a similar market cap but averages 9.5mil in volume.

Basically
>Polish American who speaks Polish
>want to move back to homeland
How would I go about securing wealth to ensure a comfy life in Poland? If I worked for one year at the median income of the United States I'd have the median income of someone in Poland for 52 years.

You convinced me not to buy a house with a 15% deposit and now its sold and it was literally the only cheap house in the area. Now Im never going to get one I know it, I either will lose my mortgage ability ( if I lose my job ) or I wont find another house.

I was earning 80k and wanted to buy a 320k house :(

Stop fucking around for 1 minute and let's discuss how to manage our companies.

What is your business about?
Where do we find trustworthy people? How do we recognize them?
How do you pay them without killing your profits?
How do you expand?

Currently a finance undergrad in NYC, considering law. Is it really that big of a mistake? If I were able to get into a T14 or something like Fordham Law, can law be worth it? Or should I continue on the finance route?

Also, I've read that getting a JD (practically any school) and setting up shop in middle America can be very lucrative since there is a serious lack of lawyers outside of the big cities on the coasts.

Hi /biz/ recent lurker, was wondering what you all thought about dispensaries and how one would go about preparing/setting everything up in anticipation of legalization in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky?
