OP here, I wrote a poem out of frustration.

>made $40k in crypto
>i rode the waves of green
>never thought I'd fall this far
>i thought it was a dream
>simply wicked, cruel and harsh
>this pain will make you think
>every day, you'll pause to say
>remember all my LINK?
>yonder on the future's plains,
>over wojak skies
>underneath the candles red
>satoshi surely cries
>at last, a saviour! Tall and brave
>travelled, wise and old
>offers me his sturdy hand, and turns my wallet gold
>standing tall, he breaks my fall and journeys me through time
>he points towards the lambos, saying:
>it's the first letter per line

Last 24 hours?

Mate, scroll out a little, then scroll out some more.

I'm a big holder of OMG but keep forgetting that it was only $0.5 a few months ago. My biggest fear is this slow bleed-out euthanasia. I bought in at like 300k sats, then sold and re-bought at 207k, then bought some more at 167k, and want to buy more at like 140k - but am terrified it's going to go down to 100k and then 50k etc. etc.

FUCK man I'm just a /biz/raeli trying to make it, god help us all

Nah no way.

Support line is at around 222K sats, there's no way we're going below that again.

If you sell now, you'll pink wojak and commit senpai in front of your family within a month. We're good - just ignore the retarded cryptokiddies who want to die when there's no end of september news (which there isn't).

How do we get even with China?

They got their ICO's banned, good. Less price manipulation, pure scamcoins, insider trading and downright shitty pump 'n dump scheming.

But how do we get even for the continual fuckery they bestow upon us? No other country has fucked with the crypto economy on such an olympic level. Here's some examples:
>Chinese exchanges reported 98% of BTC volume, all of it was fake
>Chinese exchanges engaged in front-running, wash trades and insolvent trading from day one
>December 13th 2013, China banned exchanges from accepting deposits in Yuan. This was engineered by the PBOC
>Chinese Government gave cheap (almost free) electricity to Chinese Bitcoin mining operations
>In June, Chinese Government launched a coordinated series of DDOS attacks on foreign Exchanges. In the dip, PBOC and Chinese officials were the largest purchasers of Bitcoin
>China prevented citizens moving cryptocurrency out of China in January 2017. During this 20% dip, the biggest purchasers of Bitcoin were the PBOC and Chinese officials. Exchanges were forced to sell off private holder's bitcoin balances at liquidation prices, just prior to the rise - where officials snapped them up.
>Current Litecoin volume is 44.3x the number of trades in Yuan vs Dollars. Think about that for a moment. With the current number of Litecoins, that means that almost half of all Litecoins in circulation were traded today. Think about that.

Fuck 'em. How do we get even? I HATE THEM.

How low will it go?

http://finance.jrj.com.cn/tech/2017/09/08211823086220.shtml

Regulators said:
Bitcoin trading platform has become illegal economic activities Money laundering and bankers manipulate the price of looting of retail channels, should be banned as soon as possible.

Money laundering with Bitcoin can bypass the regulation of the transfer of funds, especially in China, there are still capital controls in the case of such acts should be introduced as soon as possible regulatory measures.

bets a bit currency trading platform, not a ban on Bitcoin. The banned platform is a channel to cancel a large amount of currency and currency exchange.

Professor Deng Jianpeng, a professor at the Central University for Nationalities, found that "up to 90% of ICO projects are currently suspected of fraud."

At present, China's regulators most concerned about is that Bitcoin has become illegal means of money laundering. At the same time, Bitcoin is also the main means of payment for the underground economy.

Bitcoin in the absence of supervision of the secondary market transactions, the dealer manipulate the price, the price fluctuations are too large, but also easy to allow retail investors suffer losses.

How the fuck to exchanges convert crypto into fiat, and exchange the currency into whatever currency is desired by the buyer at cashout?

For example:
>Buyer exchanges 1BTC for $1
>Buyer tells exchange they want to cashout in AUD
>Exchange takes user's BTC, deposits it into their wallet
>Exchange deposits the AUD into the buyer, from one of their bank accounts which hold numerous currency types

Is this how it works? Do exchanges just have like 30 bank accounts, each with a different fiat currency, and then deposit it into a seller's bank account?

When I go to coinbase.com and cashout my 2BTC in AUD, how does coinbase.com actually convert the BTC into real AUD's and then deposit those real AUD's into my account?

eyboiss

I'm a cyber security consultant for an international consulting firm. We have a bunch of divisions (audit, accounting, tax, business services, human capital etc.) and we want them to understand what we do, so they can refer us to their clients.

The major problem is translating the awfully technical knowledge into simple facts so that business units can talk to a client about a problem, and think "ah - this is something the security team would be able to fix".

I'm thinking something like discussing real life examples of how they can pick up on these problems. For example:
>an audit team finds discrepancies in a finance system
>a team leader was able to request AND authorise transactions
>this is a lack of security controls, and probably indicative of other similar pertinent problems
>the cyber security team is best equipped to understand and remediate this issue

How would you communicate your services to your own internal business streams, in an inventive / engaging / interesting way? Suggestions?
