i kinda doubt people would have admitted that SV was BCH even if they had dominated with hashpower early on. maybe nChain just wanted to show exactly how little bitmain/exchanges care about the way bitcoin is supposed to work.

There's a very good reason BTC people give BCH so much attention but don't give all other bitcoin based forks the time of day.

It doesn't. BTC got value because it was used to buy stuff. Since BTC is being used less and less to buy stuff and BCH is used more and more it's only a matter of time until BCH is a better type of digital gold than BTC, especially since BCH is designed to maintain low fees so you'll still be able to use it to buy stuff at any price.

I think you should buy it, it has a lot of support and a lot of things are happening on it. No doubt in my mind that it will at least increase more percentage-wise than BTC.
