It doesn't matter bc everyone's situation is different. >>20416332 is right bc of regulations that don't allow daytrading. Hence, if you play with <$25k you are limited to swing trading. I swing because I'm too new, dumb and poor to daytrade. I started playing with $50 positions and put more money in aiming to hit 1k by saving. Now I max $200 per play if I am very confident on the company i'm buying and minimum 100. I'm 30% up in total and have about 10 different positions. I do that because that's what *I* am able to do with my life circumstances. Make your own plan and try to get a better understanding of how markets work. Last but not least, work on yourself because you are your worst enemy, not traders and bots
