heres a good trade that somewhat hedges you

short the DAX
long the SPY

this way, if everything goes back to 2017 ultra bull, w global synchronized growth, then youll still have your SPY longs that will cover your short losses. but if things keep going the way they are currently, DAX should continue to slide, and SPY should slowly grind upward

desu after looking at this chart i might do exactly this
tho i might choose a shittier EM country nd long the russell instead
