You can start to extrapolate out what a link transaction "should" be worth. I'd need someone with more insider info, but obviously a triggered LINK settlement that sends out a SWIFT GPI payment message should slightly undercut the current system of ACH/EFT and some percentage of the capital utilization that you get from a <5 minute transaction vs the (according to a commodities trader anon) 5 day traditional settlement period.

I dont know their current systems, but i'd assume you would have to borrow capital to float and keep your trading going while having all your "real" money tied up....at interest. I would venture to guess this cost is substantial, and the ability to make 5-10x more trading volume is insane for winning trading firms, so worth more than the "I WOULDNT PAY MORE THAN .000001usd per api call" the redditniggers love to say.
