This mainly for triple A games. The indie scene is fucking thriving with solid games. I am not defending these mega companies but they are incentivized by the consumer. The consumer, mostly normies, demand massive games every year. These companies will do whatever it takes to achieve that demand. This is not the case with the indie scene. Look at at the new Hollow Knight. It’s near the end of development and they still haven’t announced a date. It’ll be done when it’s done. Nintendo is another example. They scrapped Metroid Prime 4 and started from scratch. I also haven’t heard a single peep regarding tears of the kingdom having game breaking bugs. The normies are to blame for the bloat but is autists aren’t innocent either. Everytime a remake is dropped most of us eat it up like fucking pigs at the trough. But yea, go check out the indie section on steam if you want quality games.
