About to get PhD and start a postdoc that pays $75lk (laugh if you must). Thinking of finally putting a little into crypto, but want to avoid memes. Should I actually buy crypto or just invest in mining companies, etc.?

I've made a good amount from /smg/'s shilling, but I don't know if the same will happen if I buy general /biz/ shilled stuff like link.

How many of you buy IPOs? I read over some upcoming IPOs and they looked interesting, but I'm new at this shit and don't know if IPOs are unwise unless you really have money to burn.
