The only solution to this fucking mess is to stop federally insuring all student loans and making them forgivable under bankruptcy, so the loan givers would have to weigh risk and reward when granting loans, considering the students high school grades, chosen major, SATs, and deciding on whether or not a student is likely to pay the money back or not. Instead, its a debt slavery system where the ones loaning the money get paid regardless of whether or not the student is economically viable. It's a giant fucking joke and the entire system needs to be free marketized in order to fix it and bring college costs down but those at the top are making a fucking mint by ruining kids futures and enslaving them, some for their entire lives.
