trying to convert a portion of my silver stack into silver .... things.

1) what are useful silver objects besides silverware?

2) Do I find a local silversmith? Maybe he'll accept silver as payment...

say you own a dollar denominated asset like a gold miner share on NYSE that's brokered by Vanguard. In 2021 most individuals and companies default, followed by a currency reset back to sound money.

What happens to this asset? Assuming the company somehow survived. Do you speak with the miner finance office to recover that share and link it to your new brokerage?
