once the public is educated enough it'll become clear that illegal weed cannot be compared to the legal one in terms of quality. so even if you could find it on the street 1$ per g you wouldnt touch it because it tastes like ditch weed and the high is shit. ppl now can choose for tons of strain for the desired taste and high. (protip: indica and sative strains have completely different effects, almost the opposite of the other)
same thing happened with wine, 20 years ago only connoisseurs knew the good stuff, so that most of bars would only keep the shitty stuff on the shelves.
nowadays every nigga is a sommelier and would never drink the same piss they've called wine for 20 years straight and would only drink the most fancy stuff.
