Fantom was built to replace bitcoin, and accomplish it's original goals. That's why eth was created too, but it failed. Ethereum isn't capable to handle the technical capabilities for CBDC's and stuff, obviously (gas fees are 1k now sometimes?)

I explain it a bit more. There are also papers out there if you dig hard enough that explain how eth was looked into for a potential CBDC system in 2016 (maybe 2017) but was rejected because it couldn't handle it.
