So I am a brainlet that is new to crypto. I just started by reading iota's whitepaper and although the DAG approach is interesting to read, I already stumbled on a word I didn't really understand.
What is actually meant by "transaction"? Is it like a money transaction or something else? Please help a brainlet out

I bought iota a while back and didn't sell when I should have. Should I go ahead and eat the 50% loss or does the potential of Coordicide make it worth hanging on to? I've done some research and it looks like they are making progress and might pull it off. But did they miss the boat? Will anybody even care if they do finish the code? Is this thing rangebound at .30? Or is it 100x potential?
