Look at silver vs CPI, particularly non-manipulated CPI. Little out of date, but you get the idea. Supply inflation is too high, in addition to paper silver, in addition to silver being a purely industrial metal since it's no longer needed to enhance the divisibility of gold.
The only scenario where silver realistically outperforms is total collapse, and in that case guns, food, alcohol, luxuries, etc., will be more valuable.
