this board was created as a containment board for crypto discussion so I think you're nostalgically underestimating how much we've always talked about crypto on here. Even before the 2017 golden bull run 90% of threads were about crypto. But yeah these days it's more like 99% of threads and it would be nice to see more diversity. I've tried to make /quant general/ threads for finance bros to talk about career stuff but you get like 1 or 2 serious replies before the thread dies.
