I've been working as a chemist in the construction adhesives industry for two years, and I've had to deal with everyone in the industry from the customers, to contractors, to VP's, to engineers, etc etc etc.

There's a fuckton of money to be made with this stuff. And as we move into an era of green building and construction, the profit margins are only going to get higher.

All a person needs is know how, connections, and a reliable crew. And frankly even if you don't have those, you can still make tons of money.

Great example: hardwood flooring. Hardwood flooring is expensive as shit. Urethane glue is expensive as shit. Rich people love it, and contractors love it because they can charge out the ass for labor and materials. We're talking jobs where the raw materials cost tens of thousands of dollars.

And yet rich people treat it like it's another area to cut costs, so they hire a bunch of Mexicans in a van to do it at cut rate. They don't use the right glue, they use shitty materials, and they don't do it properly. But they do it just right enough that they can get their money and book it before the customer comes calling. And because they don't need to worry about things like being bonded or insured, and because it's not taxed, it goes straight to the mattress.

There's baskets of money to be made, gents. You just need to go outside and make it.
