Here's a bizarre incident that happened to me a couple weeks ago.
>Lady Comes into Restaurant I work at
>Orders fries, a burger and a milkshake
>She specifically instructs me to make the fries "soft"
>I don't care, I just give her normal fries, they're soft enough.
>Hand her her food
>She comes back later after finishing the shake and burger
>Complains that the fries are too soft
>Yells at me demanding a refund
>She hands me them and I throw them away
>Refund her for the $3 she spent on fries
>She gets even angrier that I only refunded the price of the fries instead of the entire order, even though she ate everything else
>Try to explain that she can only get a refund on things she hasn't eaten
>She still doesn't understand
>After a five minute long yelling match she angrily storms off saying she's going to leave a bad review
Was this some sort of attempt at a "free food" scam or something?
