the fundamentals in GME does make it undervalued
It certainly made it a lot easier to buy into GME when it was trading at a ridiculous 0.05x of revenues despite its healthy balance sheet and the console cycle bump
even now its revenues are valued lower than Nordstrom

BUT, all that is just a bonus to minimize your downside potential. All that alone just makes GME a value trap. The real bait was the """short squeeze""" potential, because unlike the short squeeze potential on ACB, AMC etc. (they def had their own short squeeze recently), GME isn't actually at risk of bankruptcy yet. What you're really paying for is the opportunity cost to keep holding GME until who knows when the next MSFT-tier catalyst will be
