>I'm not too good at metallurgy, but it's very weird. How can the same alloy (in this case, 90/10) look so coppery in the Tscherwonetz, whereas the 2R and Babenberger look almost as golden (but also different between each other) as the 999 Wiener?

Coin alloys can be three metals with the base metals at different percentages.

Looks like they got all of yours and funnily enough only one of mine for some reason. Still not gonna curb my speech for anyone though.

Mostly to protect it from scratches and dings since it's very soft when it's not mixed with silver or copper.

>why do modern sovereigns look so red?
Royal Mint only uses copper in the alloy mix.

24k is to soft for every day wear and tear so its mixed with copper, or silver for added durability. You can still get 24k jewelry though.

You can really feel, and see the difference in size to weight when you hold 1 oz of gold in one hand and an oz of silver in the other. Congrats on the first oz of gold as well its a milestone.

I believe they think you are shilling paper metal instead of actual metal. To answer your question buying paper metal is the equivalent of one of those "own a star" companies, only its worse because if you "buy" a star you at least get a physical piece of paper you can hold and wipe your ass with, buying paper metal you dont even get the paper these days. So don't buy a digital iou for metal just buy the metal and call it a day.
